How can I help you?
People seek therapy for many different reasons, for instance when unable to cope with sadness, anxiety, lack of confidence or difficulties in relationships. The current climate of uncertainty in the face of the Coronavirus and the impact of self-isolation presents further unforeseen difficulties for which many are struggling to deal with.
As a qualified and experienced psychotherapist I can help you to work through these difficulties so that you can cope better. Therapy can help you to develop resilience.
Therapy can help you deal with feelings of anxiety or to cope when the circumstances you are faced with become too difficult to manage.
No matter how intense, severe, frequent, new or longstanding your issue, nothing is too small or too big to benefit from therapy.
What do I offer?
I offer confidential treatment for individuals and couples aged 18 and over.
I am a qualified psychotherapist with an MSc in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and am registered with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). I have longstanding clinical experience as a CBT therapist for the NHS and the Priory Hospital Group.
In addition to CBT I use techniques from a range of other therapeutic models such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness and Clinical Hypnosis.
