Anger or frustration is a natural human response to situations such as disagreements, being insulted, deceived or treated unfairly. Anger becomes a problem for you if it harms yourself or others and can be damaging and frightening for those around you, particularly when children are involved.
You may feel you are unable to control your anger. Anger can involve physical or verbal violence or threats, angry thoughts or passive-aggressive acts. It can affect your relationships.
Anger can be subtle and may be directed towards yourself and may risk self-harm or suicide.
Anger management involves a combination of CBT, Mindfulness and other techniques to enable you to recognise and control your reactions to difficult situations and will help you to improve the way you solve problems.
